Welcome to Shukily! By using our website, registering as a maker, or making a purchase, you agree to the following terms. These Terms of Use are designed to be fair, human, and clear—just like the marketplace we’re building.
Shukily is a handmade marketplace based in Israel. Our platform connects local creators with people looking for meaningful, personal products. We provide the space and tools, but makers are the ones who create and fulfill each item.
By purchasing through Shukily, you agree to:
- Provide accurate shipping and payment details
- Read product descriptions and personalization notes carefully
- Contact the maker or Shukily promptly if there is an issue with your order
- Understand that most items are made-to-order and may vary slightly from listing photos
When you register as a vendor, you agree to follow our Shukily Seller Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Use.The Seller Policy includes handmade standards, fulfillment timelines, legal and tax obligations, commission rates, payout terms, and communication expectations.
By maintaining a shop on Shukily, you acknowledge and agree to those conditions.
Handmade Standards
- All items listed must be handmade, designed by you, or produced under your direct creative control.
- You may use external production (e.g. print shops, small batch manufacturers) only if the design is your own and the process is transparent.
- Mass-produced, drop-shipped, or factory resale items are not permitted.
Legal & Tax Requirements
- You must be legally registered as a business in Israel (e.g. Osek Patur, Osek Murshe, or Ltd.)
- You are required to upload a legal tax invoice for each sale via your Orders page.
- All product prices must include VAT (if applicable).
Communication & Fulfillment
- Orders must be shipped in a timely manner and packaged with care.
- You agree to respond to customer messages and requests within 2–3 business days.
- If you encounter an issue fulfilling an order, you must notify the buyer (and Shukily) immediately.
Platform Fees & Payouts
- Shukily takes a 10% commission on each completed sale.
- Payouts are issued bi-monthly through your preferred method (bank transfer or PayPal).
- All transactions are processed securely via Allpay.
Content & Representation
- You are responsible for accurate listings, photos, descriptions, and tags.
- You grant Shukily a license to use your product photos, descriptions, shop info, and story for marketing purposes, including:
- Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest posts
- Curated collections and home page features
- Newsletters and maker spotlights
- Press, partnerships, or promotional campaigns
- We will credit your shop whenever possible and honor requests to opt out of marketing use (just email hello@shukily.co.il).
Buyers pay through Allpay, our secure payment provider. All prices are in Israeli shekels (₪). Shukily deducts a 10% commission from each sale made through the site. Payouts to makers are issued bi-monthly.
For each purchase made on Shukily, buyers receive a purchase confirmation from Shukily that includes order details.
This document is not a tax invoice.
Each maker is responsible for issuing a legal Israeli tax invoice in their own name for every completed order.
Makers must upload their invoice to the order system promptly after each sale. Once uploaded, the buyer automatically receives a secure link to download it for their records.
By selling on Shukily, makers confirm that:
- They are legally registered businesses in Israel (Osek Patur, Osek Murshe, or Ltd.)
- They include VAT in their listed prices (if applicable)
- They are solely responsible for reporting and remitting taxes to the Israeli Tax Authority
Shukily facilitates this process to ensure transparency and easy access for both sides, but does not issue or submit official tax invoices on behalf of makers.
If a buyer and maker can’t resolve an issue, Shukily may step in to mediate. We reserve the right to issue refunds, pause orders, or remove listings in cases of fraud, misconduct, or policy violations.
You retain ownership of your original content (photos, text, designs). By listing on Shukily, you grant us a limited license to display, market, and promote your content as part of our platform and communications.
We may feature your work in newsletters, Instagram posts, and curated sections—always with care. You can opt out by contacting us.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our terms, post misleading information, fail to fulfill orders, or harm the community.
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we’ll let you know via email or platform notification.
Shukily is a platform for connecting buyers and makers. We are not the creator, manufacturer, or shipper of the items sold. While we support resolution when issues arise, we are not liable for damages, delays, or disputes between users—except where required by law.
By using Shukily, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or legal fees that arise from your use of the platform, your listings, or your interactions with other users.
We rely on trusted third-party providers (e.g. Allpay for payments, HFD for shipping) to support key services. While we choose them carefully, we are not responsible for their actions, terms, or outages. Please review their privacy policies and terms if you’d like to learn more.
We do our best to keep Shukily up and running smoothly. But from time to time, the site may be down for maintenance or due to factors beyond our control. We’re not liable for any interruptions or data loss that may result.
To keep our community safe, we do not allow fraud, harassment, hate speech, spam, or any unlawful activity on Shukily. We reserve the right to remove listings, pause accounts, or take legal action when necessary.
If you believe content on Shukily infringes your intellectual property rights, please email us with a formal request that includes a description of the material and proof of ownership. We may remove or disable access to the content while we investigate.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes will be handled in Israeli courts under applicable jurisdiction.
We encourage open communication and honest resolution between buyers and makers. If you find yourself in a dispute with another user, we recommend contacting them directly to resolve the issue. If needed, Shukily may step in to mediate, but we are not a court of law and cannot enforce outcomes. You release Shukily from any claims, demands, and damages arising out of disputes with other users or third parties.
These terms do not create any agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or franchise relationship between you and Shukily.
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed as needed so the rest of the terms can remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any part of the Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce them in the future.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes will be handled in Israeli courts under applicable jurisdiction.
